How the cheque gets written

Nothing is estimated from a fee table. Every fee on your cheque was read off a trade your wallet actually made.

Measuring STONK tax

STONK launches trade on Raydium LaunchLab. Every trade on a launch's bonding curve pays 1% to the platform and 0.25% to Raydium. After graduation, every pool trade pays a 0.25% pool fee and a 1% creator fee. Reward coins add a 1% or 3% transfer tax on every transfer. Bot and router fees are not STONK's and are not counted.

We read the wallet's transactions, keep the ones that touched a STONK curve or pool, and take each fee from what the programs actually moved. The trader is whoever owned the token accounts, not whoever paid for the transaction, so bots and routers do not confuse it.

  1. The history comes from the chain: the last 90 days, at most 5,000 transactions. The stub says which window it covered.
  2. Each trade is priced in dollars at the hour it happened, using public price history for the paired asset.
  3. Everything adds up to one number: platform fee, Raydium's share, pool and creator fees, transfer tax.
  4. Trades paired with an asset that has no price history count as $0, and the stub says how many.

Checked against the programs' own figures: in 60 recent trades the fee split matched LaunchLab's trade events to the lamport on all 30 curve trades, and the swap amounts matched the pool's events on all 30 pool trades.

The rebate

Every $SBACK trade pays 3.5%: 1.6% goes to the treasury, 1.2% to the team, and 0.7% is Meteora's share as the launchpad. The treasury pays the cheques in SOL.

RateTreasury divided by twice the tax paid by everyone who connected, capped at 20% of what you paid. The same for everyone at the same moment.
Your claimYour tax times today's rate, paid in SOL at the Pyth price, at most 5% of the treasury per claim.
HoldingYou must hold $SBACK in the wallet that claims, and a claim can never be worth more than the $SBACK you hold at that moment.
How oftenOne claim per wallet per day. New STONK tax since your last claim earns a new one.
WhoOnly wallets that connect. Nobody is on a list in advance.

Because the rate is set from the treasury, the sum of everything claimable is at most half of what the treasury holds. It can never promise more than it has.

What this is not

It is not a refund. Nobody gets their tax back in full, and the rate falls as more wallets connect. $SBACK is a token with a trading fee, and the stonkback is a mechanical use of that fee. It is not income, yield, or a promise of any amount. Stonkback is not affiliated with STONK or stonkfun.xyz.
